Are you tired of hearing how a 6 figure income would change everything for you? It feels like so many people in the online business space are doing whatever they can to hit that idealized number, but what does it mean for you if that isn’t exactly what works best for you right now?

I have intentionally decided NOT to have my upLIFT Mentormind be a program that is focused on helping you reach a particular revenue goal.

Over my 7+ years of building a business online, I have seen dozens of programs, courses, and masterminds that are targeted to helping you reach 6 figures, 7 figures, and beyond. Many of these programs are great. I know of some of them personally that truly do provide support, guidance, and coaching to help you reach those particular business goals.

There’s nothing wrong with having a financial goal attached to a program in terms of the results that they are promising. However, I have intentionally decided NOT to have my upLIFT Mentormind be a program that is focused on helping you reach a particular revenue goal. And in episode 112, I’m going to tell you why.

On another note, if you follow me on social media, you likely just saw a post I made about a big announcement and coming change for our family. Here’s that post if you’d like to get all the details about what that means for me moving forward.

2 Reasons I Don’t Focus on a Specific Revenue Goal in upLIFT

1. We all have different goals, life circumstances, and approaches to business

I personally think that if I were to attach a revenue amount to the program, it would be possible that I might have an easier time getting people enrolled in the program.

But, the most important reason that I don’t focus on this as a result for the upLIFT Mentormind is that I believe that each one of you, and each one of the current members of my upLIFT program have different goals, different life circumstances that they are in right now, and different approaches to business.

I don’t actually believe that every person listening necessarily even wants to earn 6 figures, and that is okay. But I believe even if that is not your goal, then upLIFT could still be a fit for you.

I want to clarify that I have nothing against big income goals. Many of the women who come into upLIFT DO have big income goals and some are already making 6 figures or more. And I believe I can help coach people towards this, if it is their goal, because I have been able to hit 6 figures in revenue for several years.

BUT that is not the main focus of upLIFT.

2. Revenue is not as important as profit

Here’s the thing: someone can be making 7 figures in revenue and they might only be keeping $50,000, $10,000, or even $5,000 in their business as profit.

But I’m guessing most of you would not want to do that.

So really, what I want for myself and my clients is to focus more on having a business with a healthy profit margin instead of just a business that hits 6 or 7 figures, and we get to healthy profit margins by making wise choices about pricing, team building, systems, etc.

What it Means to be Part of upLIFT:

My hope for my upLIFT members is this: I don’t want to create a cookie-cutter plan for you to reach a goal. I want you to be able to create a custom path and business plan that works for you in your business, not the one that everybody else has.

I want to share with you the upLIFT Membership Code that I have developed recently. I think this will give you a glimpse of what we are about.

“As members of upLIFT, we love Jesus and we love the work He’s called us to. Together, we are building thriving businesses that allow us to leverage our expertise and live our ideal lives, while shining the light of Christ to the world around us.

We believe a thriving business is about more than money. It’s about serving the world with our experiences and gifts, aligning our businesses with the way God has designed us. As we serve others, we also seek to honor God each and every day.

We believe that God is our ultimate provider and the giver of all good things, so we will trust him with our businesses and our lives.

We know that we need each other to succeed, so we commit to lifting each other up when we are down and cheering each other on when we succeed.

We know that there is not one right way to build a business, and we each have unique goals, gifts, and communities. We won’t get caught up in comparison, but instead we will focus on following the path God has for each one of us.

We will respect each other’s differences, and in times of disagreement, we will remain curious instead of making assumptions.

Through collaboration, support, and prayer, we will be able to impact more lives and transform culture more effectively than if we try to do so on our own.”

If that sounds like a community you would like to be a part of, please consider joining me for our upcoming open house on April 25, 2023!

On one of our regular Tuesday meetings, you will get to know some of the other members and hear a bit more about what it’s like to be in this mastermind.

Head here to request an invite. There will be a few questions you need to answer and then I’ll provide you the link as long as you’re a fit to check out the program.

Quotes to Note:

“My mission in upLIFT is to help and empower you to leverage your God-given gifts and expertise so that you can make an impact and expand your impact. I also want to empower you to influence culture with a thriving business and shine the light of Christ in all areas of culture.”

“What I want for my clients and for myself is that we focus more on having a business with a healthy profit margin, instead of just a business that hits a particular revenue goal.”

“It’s more important to have a healthy business than a business that hits a particular income goal.”
